- This is the first paper to consider the influences of travel time and travel time reliability in a multi-objective manner, which has now become the foundation of multi-objective user equilibrium. Many research groups internationally e.g. University of Minnesota (doi.org/10.1016/j.trb.2018.12.011) and the Shanghai University of Science and Technology (doi.org/10.1016/j.tra.2020.08.002) have used the work in this paper to justify their research into developing algorithms for shortest path problems with stochastic travel times.
