- This was the first study of dynamic dedication-based software project scheduling. Not only has it formulated and defined the problem mathematically, pointing out new challenges caused by its dynamic nature, it has also proposed a novel approach to tackling the challenges. According to IEEE Xplore, it was the third most downloaded paper in July and August 2016 among all TSE papers available online. Its novelty was recognised by surveys at IJPE2018 and JSS2019. The latter also highlights dynamic software project scheduling as an important direction given that real software projects are dynamic. This work has inspired several other research groups.
