- This paper proposes a greatly improved interface capturing method for LBMs. The method is tested rigorously with the most challenging of benchmark challenges. It allows for the prediction of interfaces with far greater accuracy and thus has much potential for realistic engineering applications. A grant to incorporate this method into internatinally used open-source software (DL_MESO, with chief developer Dr Seaton at STFC) is under review (EPSRC Mathematical Sciences, 2021).
