- Double-weighted statement
- The output results from a five-year research project analysing developments within EU employment and social policy since 2010. Given the interdependent relationship between the EU’s social dimension and economic policy, the research adopts/develops an original theoretical and empirical lens. It includes three rounds of research interviews (40 total) with some individuals interviewed twice. International participants were difficult to access; considerable time was spent cultivating relationships and establishing trust. This research included extensive primary analysis of several policy areas (economic, health, pensions, employment, social, education, training) and a unique coding framework–both time consuming and resulted in the long project duration.
