- Spartan has been downloaded over 10,000 times from CRAN repository https://cran.r-project.org/. This paper provided the technical input to an InnovateUK project for Simomics, with AstraZeneca, to develop virtual laboratories, see https://www.simomics.com/offerings which resulted in the commercial tool Virtual Fish Ecotoxicology Lab. This work itself is now the technical backbone of a funded Innovative Medicines Initiative programme for 6 years starting Sept. 2020 involving major pharmaceutical companies from across Europe https://imi-premier.eu/
