- This paper is a collaborative work with University of Southampton, Coventry University and Sea Energy Associates Ltd, sponsored by Carbon Trust under the scheme Marine Energy Accelerator. The paper is significant because it develops a novel mathematical framework to analyse a generalised class of wave energy converted based on multi-oscillating water columns with different natural frequencies as demonstrated in this novel and unusual dodecagon shaped wave energy device. The devised analytical method will reduce the computational effort to predict the wave energy device power take-off.
