- Double-weighted statement
- This major, original co-authored book provides a global perspective on the politics of social media governance and use, representing a comprehensive analysis of practices and policies from every continent, from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. The investigation of emerging communication patterns from political, social, regulatory, economic and technological outlooks has required both authors (who collaborated on the research for each chapter) to gather extensive data and analyse multi-faceted and intricate settings. Interlinking a global focus on practice with thematic analyses of the nature of the public sphere, social democracy, cultural networking and policy values has required a prolonged research effort.
