- Originating in a 3-month Guest Scholar’s position at the Getty Conservation Institute in 2013, this book was published by the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles, in March 2019. Comprising 296 pages and over 97,000 words, the book contains more than 250 illustrations including the reproduction of 138 architectural drawings from the Getty’s extensive Pierre Koenig Archive. Prof. Jackson's research on Koenig began in 1988, while working in California, and contributed towards a number of articles and books. However, this book provides a comprehensive and in-depth, archival study of his complete oeuvre and contains much new and hitherto unknown material.
