- The first implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) federated identity and access management using the OAuth2 framework with the MQTT protocol. Showed that a standardized federated, dynamic, user-directed authentication and authorization model can be adapted from the Web for use in IoT devices. Used as a core source for an IETF draft standard for Authentication and Authorization for Constrained Environments (ACE) [https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-ace-mqtt-tls-profile-10].
