- The 48000 word monograph is an in depth critical policy discourse analysis of 16 policy documents from across a 30 year period, thus the outcome of an extended and sustained research project. If this has been published as series of journal articles then it would have been a minimal of 4 outputs. As a monograph it offers a more coherent and concise analysis of nine key discursive themes across five distinct stages of marketisation policy than would be possible in a series of related papers.
