- Additional information
- First publication on higher-order rule interpolation to allow reasoning with sparse knowledge involving multiple forms of uncertainty, based on the novel concept of rough-fuzzy sets that is also introduced in this paper. Work done through joint international collaboration (UK, Singapore and China); published in the leading outlet on information sciences; and inspired a good number of follow-on developments, by world leading teams, including those at Alberta U (Canada), National U of S&T (Taiwan), Incheon National U (Korea), Shimane U (Japan), and German Aerospace Center.
