- This monograph was the result of a four-year research effort covering three decades of conspiracism. As it focused on an area which had hitherto been little researched, it involved sustained and time-consuming immersion in a large body of uncatalogued primary sources (including up to 3 hours daily of podcasts/radio broadcasts) and archival materials (including video, newspaper, magazines), as well as qualitative and quantitative research at events in the UK and the US. The project was also innovative theoretically, applying discourse analysis across religious and secular domains in a complex and pioneering process of critical analysis.
