- This international collaboration, supported by the National Basic Research Programme of China and EPSRC/National Science Foundation of China, proves that composite materials can have an almost isotropic Young’s modulus significantly greater than the Voigt limit and a Poisson’s ratio at a desired value, e.g. positive, or negative or zero.
