- Audroid is a system enhancing the access-control to prevent malicious actor from exploiting on-board devices. The paper reveals new classes of attacks exploiting audio channels in android devices. We propose new techniques to detect and mitigate these attacks and challenge Android access control used by hundreds of millions of users. The paper led to new collaborations with University of Munich and led to 3 follow up papers published in top venues [1,2,3]. In addition, it helped secure a lectureship at Oxford and then Southampton for Atamli.
