- This paper, and our other work on silica nanoparticles, led to us being approached by an international pharmaceutical company; Cristalia Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Brazil (R&D coordinator, Cristalia Pharmaceuticals Ltd. available to corroborate). They funded a two year PDRA project in my laboratory to investigate the use of silica nanoparticles for medical applications. Other publications from this project include: 10.3390/pharmaceutics12030294 and 10.1007/s11051-019-4720-1
