- This 288 pages monograph emerged from an invitation by Yale University Press (2015). It is the first book in modern English scholarship to explore the concept of hospitality in Islamic thought and piety. It is also the first book which constructs a thematic dialogical framework with Christian and western thought. The book uses extensive primary and secondary sources across the two faiths linking classical theological and philosophical concepts to the contemporary political landscapes.
