- Double-weighted statement
- Based upon extensive fieldwork in India which lasted over a year, this book offers an extended analysis of the overlaps between religion and music. In addition it has an accompanying website which affords readers access to much of the music referred to, as well as interviews. The book involved a great deal more work than would be included in a standard academic paper, and covers a much wide of themes and issues.
