- The work points to the significance of temperature as a limiting factor affecting the application of nano-structured composite coatings in tribologically demanding environments. It has attracted high citations from leading scientists in the field, for example Professor Kishor Kumar Sadasivuni who has cited the paper in more than four of his recent publications (doi.org/10.1177/1464420719862300). Funding was also secured through the Jost foundation (www.jostfoundation.org) to present the research work at the Applied Catalyst and Chemical Engineering Conference (24% acceptance rate).
