    Unit environment statement
    GSMD’s Business Plan, referred to here and in REF5b, had to be paused in light of the significant impact of Covid-19. A new outline plan, focused on recovery and based on a mixture of cost efficiencies and investment in income-generating activity, was presented to the Board of Governors in November 2020, and a series of workshops in each of the 8 strategic areas begun (scheduled for completion in early 2021). Through an agreement combining extensive use of School reserves and extraordinary grants, CoLC has in the meantime supported School cash-flow, ensuring sustainability.
